This Extractor Hood remote control arrived safely and on testing was foudn to be transmitting as per normal on each button press.  The remote was opened to check for possible defects but no issue could be replicated.

The signal being transmitted was also tested and the code set was confirmed to be consistent / correct for this model handeset. 

It is advised to obtain a Duracell battery or equivalent as the supplied battery in the remote is not a reliable power cell.
