Customer's Fault Description
Functions very intermittently and handset needs to be held very close to receiver. Silver dish in transducer appears to have become dislodged. Also, left hand button on remote (which needs to be pressed at some time as UP control) makes poor contact. Not sure whether this can be sorted at same time. If not, don't worry, it is useable at the moment.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the transducer in the receiver was physically damaged, this was replaced and then one of the buttons in the handset was replaced as well as the battery cable (it had signs of a battery leak). Full functionality was restored.
