Gazco EL0239 Remote Repair Details

Model : EL0239

Customers Fault Description : The remote will not operate the receiver on my fire place which sends a small current to a motor that turns the gas valve. I have checked the battery in the remote. The led lights up when pushing the buttons but it doesn’t transmit to the receiver.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This fire controller arrived safely and on testing was fond not to be transmitting a signal.

This was a common fault caused by a faulty transducer, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
