LG Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : LG
Customers Fault Description : Spilt tea on it. Initially a lot of buttons fitted without being pressed. I put it on a stock full of rice and now most buttons work except the left and right buttons and some of the other buttons around the pin wheel. The on off button should light up red when any button is pressed, so it's easy to tell which ones don't work
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This LG remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some non responsive buttons.
On opening the button facia was peeled back which revealed contaminated pads and contacts (see image). This was all cleaned up and full functionality was restored.
