Concern for Comfort Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Intermittently working - mostly NOT working! I have removed the 'rubber sheet' and washed it to no avail. I hope that you can help.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Concern For Comfort remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have two faulty IR leds, also it was noted that the working LEDS were very dim.
The faulty IR leds were replaced which restored full functionality.
