On both of the receivers the batteries have corroded the contacts.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These receivers and remote arrived safely and on inspection the receivers were confirmed to have badly damaged battery compartments from a battery leak.
The battery blocks were replaced which restored full functionality to both receivers.
No fault was found with the remote.
