REGA Solar Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : REGA

Customers Fault Description : The remote has recently stopped working, even with fresh batteries. It used to be possible to fiddle with the battery positioning and get it working again but this no longer works. The button pad on the 'volume up' button may be worn -- but it may be that it has just been pushed hard to try and make it work but that this button is not the problem. It would be great to have the remote working again.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent in button response.
On opening this was found to be due to a poor colder joint on on of the IR LED pins. The solder was reworked which restored solid functionality.
