Has stopped turning the TV on, so not sure if more buttons are broken, but it doesn’t turn the tv on
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening there was a very large amount of sticky contamination over much of the PCB and button array. This was all cleaned up but the dead issue remained. Eventually the main IC was found to be at fault, a replacement IC has been ordered. The IC arrived (along with a replacement PCB, rather than just change the IC the entire board was replaced which restored full functionality.
