Exactly as per example case on your website: Remote won't switch on without several attempts but even then the red light only stays on briefly. It was acquired as part of a caravan 1.5 years ago purchase and has been unreliable ever since.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was held in place with tape (this battery cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
The battery cable was found to be damaged and had work carried out on it. When tested the remote would not power up. A voltage check confirmed that this was due to the cable itself. A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
