Customers Fault Description : I bought the golf trolley second hand and the remote was working, it uses a square battery, when it stopped working I assumed the battery was dead, but after changing the battery it never worked so I have no idea whats wrong with it. I know it has been dropped a few times onto grass, maybe something loose inside?
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover is missing its retaining clip making the cover loose, this cant be replaced as spares are not available.
On adding a battery the remote would flash and then not respond. This was due to bad button caps in the facia. The button caps were replaced which restored full functionality.
