Customer's Fault Description
I bought the golf trolley second hand and the remote was working, it uses a square battery, when it stopped working I assumed the battery was dead, but after changing the battery it never worked so I have no idea whats wrong with it. I know it has been dropped a few times onto grass, maybe something loose inside?
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover is missing its retaining clip making the cover loose, this cant be replaced as spares are not available.
On adding a battery the remote would flash and then not respond. This was due to bad button caps in the facia. The button caps were replaced which restored full functionality.
