Customer's Fault Description
After winter storage switched on remote control for motor mover and it lit up briefly then went dead. Have changed the battery twice for new ones and the remote will not light up or function. Connected the remote to the motor mover via the umbilical cord and it controlled the motor fine but not working when powered by the battery.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to power on by its twin power button press.
This was due to a common issue caused by worn button contacts. Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
