Purchased Items Return Policy

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns of purchased items within 30 days of the original purchase date.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • In the same condition as received
  • In the original packaging (when possible)
  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase

Return Process for Purchased Items

Contact our customer service team to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN)

Package the item securely with all included accessories and documentation

Include the RAN and a copy of your receipt in the package

Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service team

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items that arrive damaged or defective. For exchanges, please follow the same process as returns and specify that you would like an exchange rather than a refund.

Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or defective. In cases where an item was received damaged or defective, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

Restocking Fee

No restocking fee will be charged for standard returns within the 30-day window.

Comprehensive Warranty Coverage

All repair services performed by RemoteFixer are covered by our comprehensive 12-month warranty. If any issue with the remote occurs within this period, we will repair it free of charge.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a warranty repair, the following conditions must be met:

  • Full Coverage: We cover the entire remote, not just the specific component that was repaired
  • Condition: The device must not show signs of physical damage, liquid damage, or unauthorized repair attempts
  • Warranty Seal: The warranty seal (if applied) must be intact

Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs to our facility. We will cover the cost of shipping the device back to you after warranty repair.

Inspection Process

Our technicians will inspect the device to verify warranty eligibility. We will notify you of the results within 2-3 business days.

Non-Warranty Issues

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will contact you with a repair quote before proceeding with any work.

Exceptions and Limitations

The following items and situations are not covered under our return policy:

  • Misuse or Accidents

    Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling

  • Unauthorized Repairs

    Damage caused by attempted repairs by unauthorized personnel

  • Wear and Tear

    Normal wear and tear expected from regular use

  • Consumable Parts

    Consumable parts (e.g., batteries) with normal depletion

  • Altered Serial Numbers

    Items with removed or altered serial numbers

  • Shipping Damage

    Items damaged due to improper packaging during return shipping

We reserve the right to deny warranty claims if the device shows evidence of the above conditions.
