Sony RM-U305C Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Guess that the remote is now getting old, as it will be its 2nd repair. Worked brilliantly for a good while after your last repair, then the mute button stopped working followed later by complete failure of the remote. Hope that you can perform your magic again ;)

 

This remote arrived safely and was found to be non transmitting.  Upon opening there was no immediate fault indicator.  After a measure around with a multimeter for continuity there was a small crack in one of the print runs.  This was reworked and full functionality was restored.
