Customers Fault Description : Receiver not receiving commands from Remote (LED doesn't flash on receiver unit). Replaced both sets of batteries. LED flashes on the remote.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely.  On testing the handset it was found to be transmitting on both the up and down channels.

The problem was with the receiver, both of the crystals were faulty and needed replacing.  As one of the crystals is no longer available a modification had to be carried out to the remote and receiver.  Therefore both crystals were replaced in the receiver as well as one in the remote to pair the 2 up.

Full functionality was restored.
