Customer's Fault Description
When pressing any button on remote a button saying main unit light lights up red, however no signal is sent to dvd player making it unusable. No buttons at all do anything to dvd player!

 

This Panasonic remote arrived safely. 

When a power source was added the remote was found to be transmitting, a full button test was carried out but no fault could be found.

The handset was opened to see if there were any signs of fault due to dry joints / cracks but again no problem could be located.  

Unless this fault is of a intermittent nature it is possible that the fault may lie with the DVD player itself.
