Sleepeezee Adjustable Bed Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Completely dead
This sleepeze bed remote control arrived safely. On powering up the remote there was no visible red LED on button presses and no infra red signal being emitted.
The remote was opened and there was a contamination over many of the buttons (See image below), this contamination was cleaned up and the rubber pads washed and then the handset was tested again. This time there was a infra red signal emitting from the remote but the Red visible led was still not illuminating.
The Visible red led problem is due to a problem with one of the I.C.s which are not available as a spare, this lack of visible indication does not impair the functionality of the remote with the bed.
