Customer's Fault Description
The receiver in the fire is not registering the 'up' command from the remote control and is not opening the gas valve as required.
Both buttons register as operational on remote, they both illuminate the LED on the remote.
The receiver illuminates with the 'down' command from the remote but not with the 'up' command.
This remote and receiver arrived safely and as per the customers fault description was found to not be transmitting on the up channel.
This was found to be the usual problem with the frequency crystals. These were replaced in bot h the remote and the receiver and full functionality was restored.
