Not powering up

 

This Purpleline caravan mover control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be responding from the double power on press.

Once opened there were a few issues found, one was that the power cable was open circuit, this was replaced but the item remained dead, it was then noticed that there was some water damage around the RED led and surrounding components.

The led was replaced as well as a faulty 1k resistor, full functionality was restored.
