Customer's Fault Description
The receiver box will only get a signal very close up and not at all when the unit is in place behind the gas fires metal cover.
This control and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to only be transmitting at a distance smaller than approx 1 inch.
This is a common issue and is caused by a faulty ultrasonic transducer in the hand controller itself.
The transducer was replaced and full functionality was restored.
