Customer's Fault Description
The remote was going faulty - sometimes it worked when buttons pressed - at other times it wouldn't work. Then it just gave up altogether! I've tried various battery replacements, etc - but it does not work at all . . .
This Toshiba Television controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have various non functioning buttons. On opening the reason became clear, there was a liquid contamination over part of the PCB and button array. This was removed using an alcohol bath and clean and full functionality was restored.
