Customers Fault Description : Fell apart
This infra red fireplace remote arrived and on initial inspection the remote was in pieces, the fixing screw was missing as well as all the buttons. Also at the top of the control there was signs of melting and deformation of the case.
When a power source was added the remote intermittently responded from button presses, this was due to a faulty battery lead, a replacement was fitted as well as replacement button caps. The case was then glued back together and screwed back in place.
Full functionality was restored.
