Customer's Fault Description
Down button inoperative. It looks as though the LCD screen has moved, possibly after being dropped?
This fireplace remote control arrived safely and on inspection the down button was confirmed not to be "activating".
On opening the reson was clear, the main PCB was loose inside the control due to broken retaining pins. The PCB was hot melt glued back in place and full functionality was restored.
