Customer's Fault Description
The remote control does not communicate with the fire. All batteries have been replaced in the fire and handset. The handset displays all the temperatures etc, and I have reprogrammed the handset. but with no success. THere is a "red light" within the handset that does not come on.
This Gasco gas fire control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting an rf signal.
On opening the usual "break" in print was found whereby a track in the RF module was reading a high resistance instead of short circuit. The print was reworked and when retested the control was found to have its RF signal restored.
