Customer's Fault Description
Difficulty conecting with caravan, battety terminal in remote is crusty.

 

 This Caravan motor mover remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be non functioning.

There were 2 issues the first was that the battery block had contamination on it causing an intermittent power issue.  The terminals were cleaned up and the bridge wire was bypassed using conductive paint.

The second issue was that the RF aerial was broken.  This was resoldered back into place which restored the signal to full strength.
