This remote control for Passerelle Opacmare on a sailboat arrived safely from Germany and on inspection was found to be transmitting without any button press.
The PCB had signs of water contamination but luckily it hadnt corroded any parts of the print, this was given a alcohol clean. The issue was found to be due to the front facia having water contamination inside its a array. It was peeled apart and dried out, this restored full functionality.
