Customer's Fault Description
The remote and the transmitter will not communicate with one another. I have changed the batteries. There appears to be some corrosion inside the receiver.
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely from the USA and on testing the receiver was confirmed to have battery corrosion issues and also was dead.
The battery block was replaced but still the item remained dead. The issue was then found to be 2 faulty zenners, these were replaced which restored full functionality.
