Customer's Fault Description
Intermittent fault. When pressing the buttons the command does not always register with the fire.
This Dimplex fire control arrived safely and on testing the top 2 buttons were non responsive / sluggish.
On opening the issue was clear. The button contacts were heavily contaminated (see image). The board was given an alcohol bath and the keypad cleared of all contaminants and full functionality was restored.
