This RF electric fire remote arrived safely and on testing was found to only be responding from one button.
On opening there were a couple of issues, the first was that the batery terminals were slightly corroded, a conductive paint was used to reconductivise the terminals.
The other issue was that the buttons themselves were slightly contaminated, these were removes and given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants, this restored full functionality.
