Customer's Fault Description

No buttons working any more

This Technics control arrived safely and on inspection there were signs that the control had tried to be opened around the outer edge.

On opening the issue was found to be due to a cracked solder joint on the oscillator which is a common issue, this was resoldered back into place.

Sadly there was a transistor near where the case markings (made by an attempted opening but the customer) which was ripped apart, a replacement has been ordered and will be fitted on arrival.

The transistor arrived and was fitted which restored full functionality.
