Burley Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Burley
Customers Fault Description : It’s chrome looking control with a single button. The light is very dim when you press the button. The fire works with the manual buttons on the fire. However my disabled wife cannot use those buttons
This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was not sending an IR signal.
On removing the battery compartment the issue was clear. The included batteries had leaked and caused corrosion on the terminals. (see image)
The terminals were cleaned and replated which restored normal functionality.
