Remote control is okay. tested with pushing button using antenna fm radio transistor.Noise is changing when i push on the button.<br /><br /> The problem is the RF receiver. Diode led light is not blinking by using remote control. In the past without touching the remote control the flame from fireplace is spontaneous burning. To brake down the flame is just possible by taking out the AC to DC adapter.<br /><br /> Question can you fix the RF module from receiver????

 

This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely from the Netherlands. On inspecting the RF module in the receiver 2 open circuits were found, on one input pin and OC was read, this was repaired by conductive paint and another OC was found further on in the track (there seemed to be some contamination around a diode, this was cleared up and the OC was found in this area)  again this was repaired by using conductive paint to bridge the OC.
