Customers Fault Description : Remote has not worked since moving into the property 2 months ago. The display kept flashing "Service 01" I think? A plumber recently visited, cleaned/dried the circuit board but it still does not work!
This shower controller arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a IC that had 3 corroded pins and also damage to the surrounding pins. The IC was replaced and the print reworked.
This item cannot be tested properly without a receiver therefore the customer is required to test it full on receipt. It may need to be reset upon arrival, this can be done in 2 ways "The process is to switch it off for a couple minutes then on. When it is on you should hear the unit resetting itself. Then switch the shower on and it should tell you to wait then it should align in a few minutes." or "the secondary reset is hold the two buttons at the bottom and push the dial in simultaneously for about 5 seconds. the screen will go black and then reset." * source justanswer.com
