Customer's Fault Description
? stopped working - changed battery still no good
This gas fire control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was confirmed to be missing, on testing the item was dead.
On opening the issue was found to be some contamination on the main PCB that was shorting the power and also the US transducer was poorly soldered on one leg. The board was cleaned up and the transducer was resoldered into position.
A replacement battery cover was also fitted.
