Customer's Fault Description
not working new battery fitted
This control arrived safely and on inspection had the usual visual damage (i.e. case coming apart and IR cover missing)
The issue was found to be a faulty LED, bad battery housing and also terminal shorting. The LED was replaced, the battery compartment was hot melt glued to make a better battery position and the terminals were coated with insulation to prevent future shorting.
