Customers Fault Description : Remote control appears to work ok, transmitter doesn't light up when activating remote. Battery cradle corroded.
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing both the remote and receiver were intermittent.
The receiver had a bad battery block, corroded due to a battery leakage, this was replaced and also the remote had a intermittent battery lead, this was also replaced.
Full normal functionality was restored.
