Was working intermittently Put a new battery in thinking that was the fault Now not working at all

 

These 2 garage door controls arrived safely and on inspection one was apart and missing a button cover (this cover cant be replaced due to lack of spares).  The batteries included were of the wrong voltage, these were replaced by Duracell 12v version which restored partial functionality. 

Both controls were intermittent on each button press and required the button to be hard pressed.  This was due to a common issue being the buttons themselves reading high in resistance.  Both buttons were replaced which restored normal functionality.
