Customer's Fault Description
I dropped the remote onto a wooden floor and the floor won. Nothing works, and the casing separated slightly and it looks like the soldered joint to the battery has broken .
This Sony controller arrived safely and on inspection the back was broken in 2 and also one of the battery terminals had broken away from the PCB.
The back was glued together and the terminals was repaired which restored full functionality.
Please note that the DVD command mode switch cover is missing and cannot be replaced.
