This Shower control arrived safely and on adding batteries was found to not have any response at all, i.e. the item was totally dead.

The issue was found to be caused by corrosion on the PCB on both sides.  This corrosion was found on a large amount of the print and had eaten through various places.

Sadly due to the amount of damage a repair has not been possible.
