Customers Fault Description : Lost its memory following battery change and need to replace or repair
This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was not transmitting an RF signal.
On inspection it was found that a component was missing from the PCB. This was replaced using a doner board but still the problem of no signal persisted. A component test was carried out but no problem could be read.
It was then concluded that the issue relied with the IC which due to the complexity of the coding system meant that a repair is not possible.
