Customer's Fault Description
Lower heat works intermittently. Higher heat (pressing up and the small button together) will not work at all. I think something was spilled onto the remote which has caused the issue as it was working fine before signs of a spillage on the outside.

 

This remote arrived safely and on testing had irregular functions from each button press.  On opening it was confirmed that the issue was due to a liquid contamination (see image).  This contamination had corroded much of the board, a replacement PCB was fitted which restored functionality
