GAZCO MMB 22600 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : despite replacing batteries no response. Have to manually lite the fire

 

This Gazco fire control arrived safely and on initial inspection the remote was illuminated and was responding from each button press but no RF signal was being emited. 

This was due to a common fault whereby the RF board solder contacts were cracked making an intermittent connection.  The board was soldered back into place which restored the signal.

Also the battery terminals were recoated due to it having signs of a battery leakage.
