Controller box doesn't seam to work a the red light on the front only flashes on when you put the batteries in then nothing, when you press the remote buttons nothing

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing it was found that the remote itself was at fault.  The transducer was faulty causing no signal to be emitted.

This was replaced which restored full functionality.
