Customer's Fault Description
Intermittent working; will turn the fire on with no problems, but does not turn off with remote. Gas engineer has confirmed remote or receiver at fault, fire is fine.
This gas fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a faulty down channel. The issue was due to a faulty 40khz crystal in the remote itself. This was replaced which restored full functionality.
The battery cable was also replaced due to the original looking worn.
