Customer's Fault Description
When using the remote, the red light on the remote is on solid. However the light on the receuver unit tuens red momentarily and switches off. Brand new batteries have been tried in both the receiver unit and the remote.

 

This gas fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the receiver had a badly corroded battery terminal.

The battery block was replaced which restored functionality but on channel was not responding.  The issue was found t obe due to a faulty 40.5 khz crystal.

A replacement was fitted which then restored full functionality.
