Hofman 131 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : No led indication that the unit is working. Have replaced battery. We only use "Stop" "Left" "Right" buttons on top row. There is no battery cover, we normally just tape it over with a bit of filler cardboard.
This brake tester controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a faulty oscillator. This was replaced and also the battery terminals were insulated to prevent future issues.
As requested the item was cloned so the customer has a backup for emergencies.
