Customer's Fault Description
The four black sensor pads are worn and can just about be activated by taking it apart and pressing them but they do not work by pressing the outside casing buttons, green, red, green and grey
This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection the screw was missing and the device was in pieces.
The battery housing was desoldered on one of its pins making it loose, this was resoldered into position.
The button array was indeed very corroded (see image), the pads and pcb were cleaned and etched back which restored normal functionality.
