Customer's Fault Description
No buttons work, the remote was dropped then stopped working. Also the battery flap retention clip is slightly damaged so if that could be fixed it would be great but I'm happy to use tape to keep it closed. The main thing is the functionality of the remote. Thanks :-)

 

This DSP-A5 AV Receiver remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be responding on any button press.

On opening there were a few problems found, there was a break in the print near the select wheel, this was reworked which restored partial functionality.   It was then found thath some buttons were non responsive / sluggish.  The pads had worn (eg on the volume controls), the pads were restored using conductive material.  This restored full normal functionality.
