Customer's Fault Description
Both only work to turn fire on and off if very close together about 50mm, light on remote goes on but light on receiver only works if remote very close, receiver starts to flash they eventually light stays on and works to turn the fire on and off, but will not work if any distance away
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a very limited range.
This is a common issue caused by a faulty Ultrasonic Transducer. A replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
