Customer's Fault Description
Remote would not shut down fire. I had just dropped the remote on hard floor a few minutes earlier but no sign of any damage to it.

 

This Gazco Stove controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a very weak signal.   This is a common issue that was rectified by replacing the ultrasonic transducer.
