Bose Solo 15 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote is programmable to control TV and Sky box as well as sound bar, but some buttons (especially those which switch between controlling the TV and the Sky box ("CBL/SAT") have to be repeatedly pressed and held before they respond. Eventually I expect them to stop working altogether.
This TV soundbar controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have non responsive buttons.
On opening the issue was found to be a mass of liquid contamination over most of the PCB and button array.
The item was given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants, this restored full functionality.
